Beavertail
The flexibility of a Flatbed with the benefit of a low loading height to the rear.
Closely related to the flatbed range, and with the addition of a sloping rear bed section, these trailers offer the flexibility of a flatbed with the added benefit of a low loading height to the rear of the trailer.
Similar to all our flatbed trailers, the beavertail range can be equipped with one of our winch options, making it possible to recover and load broken down or unpowered vehicles. Width options for the beavertail range are available in 1.98m/6'6" and 2.25m/7'6", while length options are available in 4.23m/14' and 4.77m/16'. Our lighter LT models come with a maximum gross weight of 2000kg, while the heavier LM models have a maximum gross weight of 3500kg.
The beavertail range offers several options to enhance its functionality, including a winch, full-width loading ramp, loading skids, rear propstands, headboard, and ladder rack. These accessories are also available for the flatbed range.
Resin coated plywood floor
Phenol-coated on both sides, our ply platform floors feature an embossed grip pattern on the upper surface.
Jockey wheel
Heavy duty jockey wheel provides support for the load and mobility of the trailer, when the trailer is uncoupled.
Spare wheel
A mounting bracket and spare wheel are fitted as standard to all Ifor Williams trailers for complete peace of mind.
Security marking registration with TER
Each trailer is fitted with an ID plate which has a unique serial number etched on it. Additionally, the drawbar has a different unique number cut through it, which is virtually impossible to alter without noticeably affecting the appearance of the numbers and galvanized finish.
